January = New Beginings

Colorado Sunset

Colorado Sunset

January is full of new starts and good intentions.  I have jumped on the bandwagon and made a commitment to bring my photography to the next level.  This website being the first of many new steps.  I hope to keep this blog updated with fresh photography and ideas.  Here are a few things I’d like to work on:1. Read about something I am passionate about, photography, art, architecture, etc.  To keep my brain from becoming a product of the “man”.  Any suggestions??

2. Learn a new way to use photoshop/edit photos or find a new technique.

3. Learn something new about my camera.

4. Take a picture everyday!

***I’d love to get to all of this every day but more realistically I’d love to do this all at least once a week (hey at the very least then I’d get these done 52 times/year!)  I guess that’s one way to look at it.***

Winter in Colorado can dive to bitter cold temperatures and then soar to some warm days.  The last two Saturdays have varied from 15 degrees as the high to 60!  With all of these varing temps inevitably comes powder, which is what Colorado thrives on.  This winter, I commit to take a hike, whether it be in the snow at 15 degrees or in the warmth of the sun at 60.  As soon as I can spare an afternoon with some snow shoes I will be sure to share some of my pictures.

I enjoy feedback and/or criticism.  Please let me know your thoughts, they will be greatly appreciated.

Until next time-
